you’re forgetting the fact that a gaming PC doubles as your work PC. Most people with consoles will also have a computer in some way shape or form at home. A gaming PC will do the tasks of both…someone getting a gaming PC is not going to need a separate computer at home for surfing the web, paying bills, or doing general computer activities. Once you add in the $400-1000 computer on top of the console, the costs becomes pretty even…I would say a mid range gaming PC would come out ahead.

I don’t care if PC is rising or not (I don’t think PC will kill consoles), I have no intention to buy a PC to play games, I really prefer a console instead. I’m happy with my Macbook and my PS3 and if you want to sell your game to me think about publish it for PS3.

You forget, PC’s are ‘not’ gaming machines. They are built for much more, and that is why you have all the extra power, and cost. Geeze.

What’s weird is that these figures are WRONG. Black ops was released in 2010 and it’s figures were STAGGERING and it hardly sold at all on the PC in comparison to console.
